A really good case (the best are online) and a good screen protector or shield.

nothing, except maybe a case, because i hate it when my iphone gets all scatched up.
Also some extra earphones if you are planning on listening to your ipod on your iphone, because the ones that are provided usually break very easily,
Then also sell the plastic, clear cover thing that goes on the iphones screen so that you dont scratch it with your nails or just in case you drop it, I had one but it got really oily so i threw it away. Though its pretty expensive, especially when i bought it , i dont know about now though.
