no, they are drag and drop which means you do not need to pay for iTunes or any other download service. The D2000 PMP does the trick and it even has a camera built-in.

I doubt it, only because Apple is very restrictive on what is compatible with iTunes and what isn’t. iTunes is only compatible with the iPod and Apps are only compatible with genuine iPod Touches and iPhones, so don’t waste your money with a clone (they may be cheap, but they are just pieces of plastic crap). Just wait and buy an genuine iPod Touch.
