There is no maximum of apps. However, there is a maximum of 9 pages of apps (144 apps) and 16 gb of memory. Apps are about 1 mb so that limits the number of apps (according to size) to very roughly 16000. So you will definitely have enough space if you only use it for apps and even if your apps are much bigger than average.

There is no maximum. Each app has a different amount of memory.
