Iphone Revue

My iPhone 3G has a defect (there’s a strip of unresponsive touch screen) and I want to have it replaced. I bought it only last week. I tried going to the Apple Support site and filling out my serial number and all, but it only allows me to select my accessories in the “What to replace” drilldown lists! How do I have the phone replaced? Going to an Apple Store isn’t an option.

okay, so i just got an iphone, and ive never had an itunes account before, and i let this dude at my school use his itunes account info to download apps, and now, its defaulted to his e-mail and stuff, and i am wondering how to change it to a different one.

I need to get a case and screen protector for my iPhone 2G (first generation, not 3G or 3GS). Will the Apple store still have this stuff for the 2G iPhone or is it all for the new 3G and 3GS?

Apple announced apps, 3g phone, etc. When will I be able to download the apps to my iphone? When will the new firmware be available? I know the new phone will be available from the 11th of July, but do we have to wait that long for the upgrade?

I am working on a little joke of an iPhone app. I already have the dev membership subscription, but I neither want to sell the app nor do I want to try to go through the process of selling it through the store.
Can people install iPhone apps directly onto their phone, without going through the store?
I don’t have an iPhone so I do not know.

Me and a buddy have decided to team up and create some apps for the app store. And we needed some advice on things people would like to see. So what’s better than asking whoever looks at this? So feel free to list things for us to try and create for the iPhone/iPod Touch etc. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!
